The cost of business in Vancouver is cheaper than you think

Invest Vancouver analyses why 45 multinational companies, including Amazon, Disney, and Boeing, have chosen to base their operations in the city.

This month, Invest Vancouver — Metro Vancouver’s regional economic development service — released its weighty new report, The Metro Vancouver Region’s High-Tech Engine: Boosting the Economic Landscape. Over 44 pages, the document examines key trends in tech talent, how companies make decisions to start or scale here, and the transformative power of AI in the sector. A large portion of the report evaluates Vancouver’s unique selling points for investment.

We’ve broken down the most important parts of the dossier, and offered our own analysis of Invest Vancouver’s data. This, and our take on the third section of the report (released next week), are for members only. Not a member? Fix that now.
