Rob Botterell is a retired lawyer, strategic consultant, and public speaker with decades of experience in public policy, Indigenous rights, and natural resource governance. He played a key role in drafting BC’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, negotiated the Maa-nulth Treaty on behalf of Huu-ay-aht First Nations, and has advised on major legislation and projects across government and industry. A former Trustee of the Islands Trust and past chair at UBCM, Rob holds an LL.B. from UVic and an MBA from UBC. He now serves as the MLA for North Saanich and the Islands.
