Good news, and a giveaway
Win a return flight to Seattle!
I’ve got an awesome giveaway for you this week.
As the world begins to open up, Vancouver businesses are deepening their ties — and doing more business — with Seattle. How do execs get there? The quickest, easiest, (and coolest) way to reach the home of the space needle is via seaplane.
Since the close of the pandemic, Harbour Air has resumed its flights direct from downtown Vancouver to downtown Seattle, which whisks passengers on the “nerd bird” from Coal Harbour to Lake Union in under an hour.
We’re giving away a return flight to Seattle (worth over $600) to one of our Vancouver Tech Journal members. It can be used on any date, and not just for a business trip (if you love the Seahawks, Mariners, or Kraken — or want to check out those sweet REI deals — this one’s for you too).
Entry is simple. If you’re a VTJ member, you’re automatically in the draw. We’ll pick a name next Sunday (December 4), and contact you the next day.
If you’re not already a member and you want to be in with a shot of winning this amazing prize, you can become a member before next Sunday. (Bonus: as well as giveaways like these, you’ll get exclusive and in-depth stories, daily briefings, playbooks and cheatsheets, startup watch-lists, access to a members-only community, and discounts to all our events. Not bad, eh?)
Now onto today’s briefing. It’s 1,112 words: a four-minute read.

- P.S. Join us and our partners at CBRE's High Technology Facilities Group (HTFG) for a special Year End Holiday Tech Industry Social on Wednesday (Nov 30). Your first drink is free!
