INETCO takes its real-time fraud defense global

Burnaby-based company partners with Moneta to secure Mexico’s growing digital economy

Burnaby-based INETCO has partnered with Moneta Technologies in Mexico to deliver real-time, AI-driven fraud protection for Beel, a new payment-as-a-service (PaaS) platform now available across Latin America.

Why it matters: Digital payments are booming across Mexico and Latin America—but so is fraud. More than 15,000 bank frauds happen daily in Mexico, with 92% of attacks succeeding and 15% of the population having already been scammed.

What they’re saying: “At Moneta, we focus on delivering enterprise-grade payment reliability and zero-day fraud protection so our banks and retailers can focus on growing their business,” said Andrés Labrador, CEO of Moneta Technologies.

How it works: Beel combines digital payment processing, performance optimization, and INETCO BullzAI, the company’s adaptive AI fraud detection tool. Every transaction is monitored in real time to detect threats like rogue terminals, account takeovers, malware, and BIN abuse—without interrupting legitimate activity. The platform is built to help banks and retailers modernize outdated infrastructure while reducing fraud losses and service disruptions.

From the CEO’s notebook: “We’re excited to be part of such an innovative solution and proud to partner with Moneta in setting a new standard for secure, intelligent payments across Mexico and Latin America,” said Bijan Sanii, CEO of INETCO.

Between the lines: The name Beel, drawn from the Mayan word for “path” or “journey,” signals a shift toward smarter, more resilient financial infrastructure in a region rapidly transitioning to digital.

The bottom line: This deal puts B.C.-made AI fraud defense technology at the center of Latin America’s digital payments future—combining local innovation with global impact.
