Safe Software, a Surrey-based data integration company, has announced plans to establish operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland as part of its European expansion strategy.

The move represents a significant step in the company's international growth plans, with Safe Software aiming to reach $250 million in annual revenue by 2028. The firm, which has been developing data integration solutions since 1993, says the expansion will allow it to provide better local support to its growing European customer base.

"Our customers are tackling complex, high-volume data challenges across industries, and they rely on our FME Platform to turn data into action," said Don Murray, CEO of Safe Software. The company plans to hire local sales and customer success team members in both countries to improve response times and offer more tailored solutions to clients.

Safe Software's flagship product, FME, serves as what the company calls an "all-data, any-AI enterprise integration platform." The technology helps organizations manage and integrate various types of data, including spatial data.

The platform currently supports thousands of different systems and includes over 800 built-in transformers that allow users to build and automate custom integration workflows without having to code. More than 20,000 organizations worldwide use FME technology, and the platform operates in over 120 countries through Safe Software's international partner network.

The European expansion comes as Safe Software has experienced accelerated growth in recent years. The new UK and Ireland operations will serve as regional hubs for customer support, partner collaboration, and innovation activities.
