Founded to build goal-driven AI agents for the web, Cognosys raised a CAD 2 million seed round last year led by Sangeen Zeb (Google Ventures), with backing from tech leaders including Guillermo Rauch (Vercel), Amjad Masad (Replit), and Aidan Gomez and Ivan Zhang (Cohere).
With the acquisition, Cohere will fold Ottogrid’s smart table technology into its enterprise offerings, helping customers automate workflows and enrich data.
As part of the transition, the standalone Ottogrid product will be sunset, with the founders committing to a reasonable transition period and full support for current users.
The news comes as Cohere hit $100 million in annualized revenue, according to a report in Reuters.
