Vancouver-founded AI startup Gumloop has raised a $50 million Series B round led by Benchmark, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Box Group, The Cannon Project, and Shopify Ventures.
The company builds software that allows employees to create AI agents and automations that connect across workplace tools like Slack, Teams, and email. Gumloop says its platform is already used by companies including Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor.
“Understanding a task should be the only prerequisite to automating it,” wrote co-founder and CEO Max Brodeur-Urbas in announcing the funding.
Originally known for drag-and-drop workflow tools, Gumloop has evolved into a broader AI automation platform. Its product suite now includes Gumloop Agents for building workplace AI assistants and Gumstack, a security layer that helps companies monitor how data is used across AI tools and internal agents.
The company said the new funding will help it accelerate product development and hiring as demand for enterprise AI automation continues to grow.
