🏙️ We won't forget last Thursday night
And we've got plenty more events in store for you. This is your Sunday Briefing.
We did it! On Thursday, over 500 of you came out to see Jason Fried at Vancouver Tech Journal Live at the Vogue Theatre, in what will go down in history as his first headlining appearance in the city.
As well as insights led by our moderator and VTJ founder William Johnson, we had a full hour of Q&A from you — the audience — as you grilled Fried on how to plan your business (no more than six weeks ahead at a time), how to escape the tyranny of goal-oriented metrics, and how he grew his company to over $100 billion. Yes, billion.
Even better? We’re going to be running more incredible events like this in the future. If you want front-of-the-line access — plus some pretty hefty discounts — you need to become a member.
Next up, we’ll be hosting the incredible Sahil Bloom on November 3. And you can already get on the waitlist now.
Now onto today’s briefing. It’s 1,099 words: a four-minute read.
