It’s William. When I launched Vancouver Tech Journal in 2018, the audience was me. I wrote it to fill a personal need. When I eventually shared it with a few friends, my hope was they would enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

20,000+ subscribers later, VTJ is achieving the mission I eventually created for it – to provide the most complete coverage of Vancouver’s innovation ecosystem. From tracking B.C.’s unicorn surge to stories on tech talent turmoil to our monthly sold-out events, the last few years have been a whirlwind – and a delight.
