Calendars are absolutely stacked these days. For me personally, the Canucks and NFL regular season — and the WNBA and MLB postseason — became appointment viewing. In the tech community, we just navigated #awardszn, are in the midst of #spookyszn, and are on the eve of #sahilszn (trademark still pending on that one). Here are a trio of stories about the event industry, which keeps this all ticking along.

P.S. This is actually my last newsletter. I’ve taken on a new role and will be moving on from the Tech Journals team. It’s all very bittersweet. But, today, I’m feeling an emphasis on the latter. For over two years it was really sweet that you dove into what I was trying to provide. Thanks for hanging in there through all the sports references, belaboured metaphors, and bad puns. I hope it was as much fun for you to read as it was for me to write, which was — I must say — a lot! I will always remember it fondly. Thank you for your support of yours truly and VTJ at large.
